We seek to empower people by bringing together individual talents and skills for mutual benefit through a business community of diverse background wherein the aspirations of the future are complimented and challenges tackled by applying interventions, learning and adopting latest value ridden, effective and efficient, technical and technological factors while returning the essence defining our humanity.
To develop members in various communities who have limited access to the main socio-economic activities that enhance quality of life, self-esteem and actualization through inclusive socio-economic engagements by rendering empowering initiatives, partnering with diverse organisations in private and public sector to implement socio-economic development interventions that will enable individuals, groups, to transform and better their lives and in doing so engaging skills and knowledge, expertise, capital and human resources, innovation and technologies, research and development.
IDEP is registered organisation with its headquarters in South Africa.
The organisation’s oversight is exercised by the Executive Management Committee (EMC) and applies the good governance principles. Day to day activities is looked after by the full time staff members in different regions where it is serving communities. IDEP has other key various stakeholders looking after the interests and portfolios they represent. The stakeholders
draw from different sectors including; education, various social strata,
economic development, business community, statutory bodies, quality assurance bodies, and public sector.
